High performance features include 64-Bit Quad-Core architecture, up to 6GB system memory, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

This fault-tolerant data storage appliance comes in a convenient, space-saving 4U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 1010 Watt power supply, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD across twenty-four hot-swappable SATA disk drives on a high-performance 3Gbps SATA RAID controller.

The Falcon Series 2420nz provides two rear hot-swappable 146GB RAID Certified 15,000RPM 2.5” 6Gbps SAS Disk Drives Mirrored at RAID 1 for the operating system. These disks and RAID controller are completely independent of the data storage array.

Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the Falcon Series 2420nz to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded via its integrated DVD+/-RW drive.
