Based on Industry Standard Open Platforms Each system utilizes open systems-based video image surveillance processing and management software. By using open systems, organizations can centralize images from unlimited analog and digital cameras, distribute live video streams over IP, manage remote archives of surveillance images and enable IP from end-to-end for efficient video surveillance and security. Our systems ensure high performance and compatibility with leading cameras and digital video management software. Additionally, with IP surveillance, organizations can use their existing networking and IP expertise for simple and speedy deployments.
Includes Hi-Definition Disks to Reduce Downtime As drives have become more complex with increasing capacities and platter densities, failure rates have increased significantly. In an effort to increase the reliability of standard disk drives, DNF developed an extensive Hi-Definition Certification testing procedure. Each drive used by DNF goes through a sophisticated and grueling 120 hour testing process, weeding out units that exhibit signal quality problems, data mismatch errors, temperature and power regulation issues, or other conditions that escaped the manufacturer's testing process. As a result, only "Hi-Definition Certified" disks are utilized in DNF's storage systems resulting in lower rate of drive failure and reduced hard drive related system downtime.
Input an estimate of the amount of storage you will need. Your available storage capacity will decrease depending on the RAID level you choose. Do not include hot spares in your raw storage calculation.
Input the amount of data you currently have in use. This will be used to generate an estimate on the number of disks you will need for this amount of available storage, after accounting for the RAID level.
