With the Falcon-USS you can have multiple edge recorders or VMS within a single hardware. Which means you can allocate and load-balance a certain amount of cameras and hardware resources between the different VMS giving you higher efficiency and resource utilization; as well as scalability and expansion options as video storage needs increase.
The Falcon-USS Series 1600wz Unified Storage and Server system incorporates storage capacities of 4,800GB (4.8TB) to 32,000GB (32TB) with the latest RAID technologies. High performance features include eight-way 64-bit architecture, 12GB system memory and dual copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity ports.
This fault-tolerant data storage appliance comes in a convenient, space-saving 3U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, redundant 1200 watt power supply and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 1, 5, 6, 10, 50 across sixteen hot-swappable disk drives on a high-performance RAID controller.

Input an estimate of the amount of storage you will need. Your available storage capacity will decrease depending on the RAID level you choose. Do not include hot spares in your raw storage calculation.
Input the amount of data you currently have in use. This will be used to generate an estimate on the number of disks you will need for this amount of available storage, after accounting for the RAID level.
