Dynamic Network Factory's Falcon small business towers are ideal entry-level video management solutions. These hybrid video management solutions
are ideal for organizations transitioning into IP Surveillance but still require support for their analog cameras. With advanced video management software and scalable performance, the Falcon hybrid towers allow security integrators to manage video content - not storage.
Falcon Series Hybrid Video Storage Systems support analog channels recording at D1 (704x480) resolution with 30 frames per second and up to 480 frames per second real time recording. They use H.264 hardware compression and allow you to combine a mixture of analog and IP cameras to build a true hybrid system without compromising on quality. And with CM(Central Management) software, it's easy to manage your analog, IP, and megapixel cameras together in one system.
The Falcon Series Hybrid 62tbz Video Storage System incorporates storage capacities of 1,800(1.8TB) to 12,000GB (12TB) with the latest RAID technologies. High performance features include two 15k SAS drives mirrored in RAID-1 for operating system idependent of the storage array, 64-bit quad-core architecture, 3GB high-speed video cache, and dual copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity.
This fault-tolerant data storage appliance comes in a convenient, space-saving tower or 4U rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 1, 5, 6 and 10 across eight hot-swappable disk drives on a high-performance RAID controller.
Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the Falcon 62tbz to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded via its integrated DVD+/-RW drive.

Input an estimate of the amount of storage you will need. Your available storage capacity will decrease depending on the RAID level you choose. Do not include hot spares in your raw storage calculation.
Input the amount of data you currently have in use. This will be used to generate an estimate on the number of disks you will need for this amount of available storage, after accounting for the RAID level.
