The Falcon Series 1600qz 3Gbps Video Storage System incorporates storage capacities of 8,000GB (8TB) to 16,000GB (16TB) with the latest RAID and NAS technologies. High performance features include single or dual Intel® Xeon® Quad-Core processors, up to 16GB system memory, and dual 10/100/1000 copper gigabit Ethernet connectivity. An optional high-speed 4,800GB (4.8TB) 10,000RPM storage capacity is also available.
This fault-tolerant data storage appliance comes in a convenient, space-saving 3U Rackmount chassis with hot-swappable drives and trays, and an advanced cooling system. Your data is protected with your choice of RAID 0, 1, 1E, 3, 5, 6 and JBOD across sixteen hot-swappable SATA disk drives on a high-performance 3Gbps SATA RAID controller.
Installation and setup are a breeze, allowing the Falcon Series 1600qz to be up and running in about 15 minutes after it is unpacked from the box. Additional software, including backup client or server applications, may be loaded via its integrated DVD-ROM drive.
